A quick recap: We’ve spent the past five weeks transforming the front porch of my home. I’m not the only one! Together with the lovely Deb at Seeking Lavender Lane and a group of fun and talented bloggers, we’ve all had a fantastic time bringing you our favorite curb appeal ideas and projects and today is the reveal! To add to the fun, we’re also hosting a giveaway for a $110 Home Depot/Home Decorators gift card to get you started on curb appeal for your home! Details on the giveaway and links to my fellow curb appealers reveals can be found at the bottom of this post.

For now, let’s take a walk down memory lane at where we began.

And here we are today!

The front door was still functional, but the finish was tired and didn’t act as a proper focal point. Black paint woke up the door finish, and a coat of white paint provided a much-needed frame for the door. We had originally planned to reframe the door but found by just painting the outside frame of the door as well as the storm door, we achieved the same thing and saved a significant of time and money.

We added house numbers to the house front and a hanging planter for seasonal plants.

House Number Frame
The number tiles have been living in our garage collecting dust since we moved in and were original to the house, left to us by the previous owners, who were the original owners. We are so excited to get finally to use them!

Hanging Planter

The light and matching post lamp from LampsPlus couldn’t be more beautiful! I love how the large light flanks the newly framed door, giving it strength and presence. The Edison bulb is perfect for the lights, and the screen gives such a nice contrast and texture!

I created a faux succulent wreath to break up the expanse of beige vinyl siding.

These faux white wicker rockers were in desperate need of a make-over.

They received a handwoven one!

Dwarf Alberta Spruce’ flank either side of the porch pillars, adding color and interest throughout the year. The ceramic pots were found at At Home.

A fun galvanized table is just the right size to hold some fun accessories. The table was a fun outdoor find at At Home. Although I found more than a few tables that I could have brought home in a heartbeat, this one, with it’s folding legs, was exactly what I was looking for.

My favorite part of this makeover is.. pretty much everything!

Once again, the before:

And the after!

Thank you so much to our generous sponsors, LampsPlus and At Home for helping me to make this project such a success! I could shop with you both for days!

As much as I’m excited about all of the fun changes for my front porch, I’m even more excited to offer you a chance to win a $110 gift card from Home Depot to work on your curb appeal! Follow the links indicated below for your chance to win! Good luck!
