My very first Pinterest Challenge

I think I’ve lost my mind, and I’m so excited about it!

So, it all started when I developed a blog crush on http://www.merricksart.com. Well, actually, it started before that. It really started when I was looking for “Paris” related things for K’s room (I will be showing that off soon, so be sure to check back!) and came across this fabulous pin, that I was thinking I might be able to use in some way for the room. I hope I’m not the only one who has pin-add.. Needless to say,  I made my way back to Merrick’s blog, forgot what I’d been researching and fell in love with all of her great ideas for clothing refashioning! If you get a chance to look, check it out. Her site has lots of ideas and sewing projects for the newbie!

Anyways.. back to losing my mind. On her blog, she mentions a Pinterest Challenge that is going on. How exciting! Since I’m new to blogging, I’ve never actually done a Pinterest Challenge before, and am so excited to participate in this one! The Challenge is to pick six Pinterest pins and complete them in a given amount of time. The only problem is, the Challenge ends on April 2nd – and I signed up on March 20th. Ugh. That’s nearly.. a pin a day. No problem! Right? Right. Here goes.. I’m linking up with Merrick’s Art and her Sisters Share it All posts with both feet!

Sisters Share It All: Pinterest Challenge

Here’s what I’ll be working on:

1. For some reason, not one of my five children gave me a calendar for Christmas. We’ve been crutching along since January without one – you can’t imagine the chaos, but I can promise, there is a sitcom in it somewhere. I love that this one is reusable, and I really, really love the quote section.
2. Easter is on it’s way. I need more stuff. Love the look of this – and my neighbor is dying for me to make something just like this for her!
3. I need this. Actually, Shay needs this, so he can reclaim his square inch of the closet.
4. With K’s birthday bash coming up next month, I need a few treat stands – the small collection I have is just not going to work. Although this link doesn’t lead to a tutorial, it does have some very cute ideas!
5. I need something like this to finish off B’s room. Kills two birds with one stone!
6. Pillows in this style will finish off K’s room nicely. Great tutorial and so cute!
Wish me luck!

It's only fair to share...
