Happy Valentine’s Day!
February started with such a bang that Valentine’s Day just kind of snuck up on me. It’s one of those weeks that has you wondering what you’ve been doing, because it just really feels like you’ve been running in circles. Usually I’m pretty on the ball and prepping a party for my homeschool buddy – not so this year.. too much time in the bathroom (we’re renovating!). We did manage to fit in a few things throughout the week though. Everything else, I kept to a minimum, there was just a little bit of lovey-love festiveness strategically placed in a few key spots around the house. Our favorite activity was these Lovey Bug Oreos. So fun!

We will be spending the day with our monsters, but Shay and I were able to fit in a grown-ups only early Valentine’s Day date on Thursday. There was good wine, great food and great company – I love my Valentine as much today as I did 9 years ago. I hope you are as lucky as I am, and can spend some time with your sweetie as well!
